A mum allegedly dumped her screaming five-year-old daughter out of the car and tried to drive away without her.
The shocking moment was captured on film and shows the child running down the road after her mother.
The video was posted on social media and sparked an inquiry from child protection.
In the footage the girl can be heard screaming as she stands in front of the red car.
It appears her mother tries to get her out of the way so as not to run her over and once the child moves she starts driving off down the road.
