Six-year-old girl plummets down sewer after falling through loose metal cover while skipping in street

This is the heart-stopping moment a six-year-old girl plummeted down a sewer after falling through a loose metal cover while playing in the street.



In CCTV footage, the schoolgirl can be seen playing and bounding around the playground while waiting for her parents.



She then walks onto the unsteady sewer cover which suddenly gives way, causing her to drop into the hole in the ground without warning.



A young woman who witnessed the accident can be seen rushing over to check on the girl, who had dropped about six feet to the bottom of the structure filled with water
