At least four people were killed and 620 were injured after a horror crash involving two passenger trains travelling in the same direction on the same line.
There were scenes of chaos as rescuers worked to free people who were trapped in derailed carriages and injured passengers lay on the platform waiting for help.
One victim lay partially underneath a derailed train carriage as they were helped by emergency responders.
Around 800 people were on board the trains when they collided at Mountain View station in Pretoria, South Africa, during the morning commute on Tuesday at about 9am.
