  • Interesting ...

Is O'Reilly implying it is Vidmax's responsibility to 'keep the kids safe'? As the chick said, kids have been doing stupid things before the internet. This report shouldn't be focusing on Vidmax or any similar website. This 'problem' is a result of insecure, stupid kids and poor or absent parenting. Shame on O'Reilly.

  • Gotta agree with you Mr. O...

Why is it that you can see morons doing the same thing on America's Funniest Home Videos (with exceptions on the really extreme) and it's just fine?

  • Well, at least they had some pretty cool clips, if nothing else. ;D

  • About the kid that is braindead

..don't know why media sources like this keep mentioning us in the same breath with the kid that smashed his head and is now brain damaged, we don't even know who he is nor have we ever had contact with him. I expected more from O'Reilly

  • Great publicity

I'm a regular viewer of the O'Reilly Factor, but consistently disagree with his views on "policing the internet" (among a few other topics). Anyway, after watching the segment, I hit the review button on the remote so that I could catch the name of this site. Don't sweat his comments -- I doubt it'll negatively impact any potential viewers of this content. In fact, I bet the page views are higher than ever since the segment ran!

  • Another thing...

I personally (me, not you and I don't expect you to act as I would) would not put up vids of idiots engaging in self torture, but I don't have a journalistic bent either. If someone wants to drive a screw into their arm and send you video of it, so be it. Whether you allow it to be posted or not, they will still do it to shock their friends and impress the chicks...and send it in to AFVH where the host will have a chuckle and no one will bat an eye. Anyway, I read the TOS today and you guys specifically mention nothing involving putting minors in danger yadda, yadda, yadda. Now, there is NO WAY for you to confirm whether a person is a minor or not, so until someone shows you otherwise, you have to have faith that the person was over the age of 18. I think the news creeps need to STFD and STFU.

  • Bill oReilly is a tool...

Why doesnt he report on "real" news? I mean how long have these video sites of tardo kids been on the net now? jeezus tell us something we dont know....like how the fuk did you keep your job??

  • Funny how

It's not okay for a website to show those clips, but the news can show them. All that does is introduce it to a wider audience.
