I live in the same city Curtis lived in. For one, that was not his child. Watch the video again. Secondly, that was not his gun. Whoever left the gun there should have been more careful. And the parent(s) of the child should have been watching him. I saw a comment where someone said his girlfriend looks like she didn't care. Firstly I'd like to say that I can't stand listening to almost any rap music. I dont like the way it sounds. I'm a white kid who grew up mostly in the northwest. But good god. I think that the issue isn't so much that the man was a rapper as that a gun was left out within reach of a two year old. It's not so much a lack of culture based solely on the fact that he was an African American "gangster rapper" as the amazing lack of responsibility on his part. It's sad that he had to lose his life but a little bit of commen sence probably would have saved him. Would people be saying the same thing if he were a country singer or jazz guitarist... probably not.

...upload a video without really watching it first? It is made quite clear that the child who killed him was not his yet the uploader claims the child is his. Ridiculous. It is tragic that he lost his life this way but if you hang around dangerous people who are stupid enough to leave a loaded gun lying on a table in the reach of a child then you are just asking for trouble of some kind of another.
