  • No..

When you always see the videos of people lighting on fire at gas pumps it from them getting a static charge sliding in or out of there vehicle. Go and watch a video of a gas pump explosion, I will guarantee that the person once pumping gas goes back into there vehicle to get something and when they return and go for the gas pump.. Boom..

  • No phone just wrong operators!

This had nothing to do with a cell phone. Look at the truck as it pulls in. It already had the top hatches open from them adding fuel already. They moved the truck after starting the fill operation and splashed gas on the top of the truck. Flames on the top of the truck are evidence of the splashed out gasoline. The hose on the ground is carried by the truck so they were already fueling when the truck was moved. 1st step in adding fuel to a tank is to ground the truck. No ground straps attached by these guys! The hoses provided grounding as well but they didn't attach that either! Best guess as to what actually happened here is that after moving the truck and sloshing out the gas out of the open ports on the top that the guy on the ground decided to go up and check it out just in time for the fuel to reach an ignition source on the truck! Boom, boom! Out go the lights!

  • Static Electricity The Killer

The guy that got on top of the truck had obviously created static eletricity whileclimbing the truck and because he had not earth that energy out it ignited when he was removing the top cap. That was freaky though....how it blew the top of the shelter blow apart...must of been a large shock wave.
