How misinformed can you possibly be? No America was not attacking Iraq on 9/11, but funnily enough, Iraqis weren't attacking America on 9/11 either. The hijackers nationalities in no particular order - 15 Saudis, 1 Egyptian, 1 Lebanese, 2 from union of Arab Emirates. Not one of them was trained, funded, or supported in any way by any citizens of Iraq. For all intensive purposes, Saddam and Bin Laden were in fact mortal enemies. The only common link between the two? They were both funded, trained, and supported by the USA. The real question you should be asking is: Why had Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz drawn up plans to attack Iraq before bush even took office? In 1998, they sent a letter to Clinton with the following: “The only acceptable strategy is one that eliminates the possibility that Iraq will be able to use or threaten to use weapons of mass destruction. In the near term, this means a willingness to undertake military action as diplomacy is clearly failing. In the long term, it means removing Saddam Hussein and his regime from power. That now needs to become the aim of American foreign policy. We urge you to articulate this aim, and to turn your Administration's attention to implementing a strategy for removing Saddam's regime from power. This will require a full complement of diplomatic, political and military efforts. Although we are fully aware of the dangers and difficulties in implementing this policy, we believe the dangers of failing to do so are far greater. We believe the U.S. has the authority under existing UN resolutions to take the necessary steps, including military steps, to protect our vital interests in the Gulf."... The letter goes on, but the key to it all, the real reason for the war? Well we know now that it had nothing to do with WMDs, and Rumsfield himself has since admitted that the evidence that Iraq has possession of WMDs was flimsy at best, in fact the heads of the CIA strongly advised against an attack on Iraq stating that it wasn't a legitimate threat. The real reason? - "to protect our vital interests in the Gulf". Taking all of this in the context of the fact that the majority of the hijackers were Saudi, do you not begin to question your governments policies and the point of the war? Saudi Arabia is a country that is responsible for some of the worst human rights violations on this planet. It's government provides funding to groups that have close links to terrorist organisations around the world, from Pakistan, to Thailand, yet the US remains closely allied to this country, and turns a blind eye to where even it's own flow of money into Saudi Arabia is going. Why? Because in monetary and investment terms, Saudi Arabia owns approximately 5 - 10% of the US economy. If that slice and the US's trade interests with Saudi Arabia were severed, it would mean the literal collapse of the US economy. So the US attacks a country that had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11, a country that was in fact enemies with those responsible for 9/11, whilst remaining closely allied to the country that produced and funded the majority of the attackers. The reason for all of this insanity? Money and trade interests. It's always money. If you think America occupying Iraq has anything at all to do with 9/11 or protecting national security, you a completely deluded. open your eyes and stop buying Fox propaganda.

this is a very blatant propoganda video obviously trying to promote supporting the "troops" as you would call them, the only problem I see is that America is trying to portray itself as the victim rather than the aggressor which is absolute idiocracy. The way I see it is the American government played a dangerous game during the gulph war allying themselves with Sadam Hussein who they knew was a ruthless and evil dictator. Not only that but afterwards (once the oil fields to Kuwait were under threat by Iraqi occupation) they turned on their allie and protrayed him as a symbol of hatred in America. Furthermore we attached Saddam Husseins actions to those of 9/11 by some completely broad or circumstantial evidence or no evidence at all as some people think. It was merely an attempt to stop an uproar in America for blood and since he couldnt deliver Osama to the doors of the American citizens, he used Iraq and its dictator as a scapegoat... and why would i support the troops when so far all ive seen from them is civil disobedience and outright immature and childish behaviour (you can see many of these acts on this site theres a bunch of videos including one fucktard soldier teasing starving iraqi children with poptarts) oh and lets not forget the inquiry into the american soliders torturing and humiliating iraqi detainees merely for amusement and they say the terrorists are sick... Also if you think about it closely America is a threat to all individual and independant countries b/c of its fierce ideas of imperialism and colonialism. Even countries such as mine (Canada) have had their identity taken away from them b/c as far as others are concerned were just a minature america. I definitely understand that religious extremists are dangerous hence why im an atheist =| but you have to admit id be saying death to america too if they came into my country launched a preemptive strike and is killing more innocent civilians then actual insurgents.
