Religion is not the problem
People are. There are indeed Muslims that do not behave like this so it is not the religion that is really the problem. It is those who choose to practice it in a violent way. Whether the religion calls for men to act this way or not,they are still making a choice to murder and mutilate their women. No one is making them do that.
