    I've read about these kinds of experiments. This was before anti-rejection medicine, so the animals that were experimented on rejected the new organs/limbs/etc. If they did that now, I'm sure it could live much longer. I honestly don't think that this is extremely cruel. I think he honestly wanted to learn and see if if was possible that the monkey could live. It did, only for a short period of time. To do these kinds of experiments, we should wait until we found a way to reconnect the spinal cord.

    Think about it. If this procedure actually is perfected, the same way they transplant the limbs or hands or fingers etc off a dead person to use for a living one in need of the body part; you could put the head of someone who is paralyzed onto a deseased person's body. It's really unethical in today's world but with all the crazy shit science does, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a normal procedure by year 3000...if we make it that far.
