There are more whites on welfare but you are comparing 70% of the US population to 13% of the population. Last time I looked, 38% of whites were on welfare compared to 31% of blacks on welfare. There are PROPORTIONATELY more blacks on welfare than whites. It's really pathetic when only 13% of the population is very close to the numbers of 70%. Another sad point is that nearly 60% of the prison population is made up of blacks (more than any other race). But hey, I guess the mainstream media is keeping this info out of the spotlight *rolls eyes* Next time, think before you speak.
