What exactly was going through the mind of the driver of SBS bus service 10?
In this video which was shared by Beh Chia Lor, the driver can be seen accelerating at a traffic junction and running over the motorcyclists in front of him.
At the time, the traffic light was red.
And so, the ultimate WTF moment for motorcyclists when a big bus tries to “crush you like a cockroach”.
The incident took place along Pasir Panjang Road towards West Coast Rd on Thursday (20 Jul).
Several of the motorcyclists instinctively jumped out of the way as the bus ploughed ahead.
Police said that, altogether, 4 motorcycles were involved, while 3 injured persons were sent to hospital.
SBS Transit says those injured include 2 motorcyclists and a pillion rider.
The company has apologised and suspended the bus driver, and is investigating the incident.
