An MMA fighter who killed a champion powerlifter during an organised bare-chested street brawl has said he wishes he "could turn back time".
Anar Allakhveranov has been jailed for 18 years after killing Andrey Drachev in Khabarovsk Krai, south-east Russia, in August last year.
He was filmed brawling with 32-year-old Mr Drachey after the pair met in Khabarovsk to decide whose sport was better.
In the footage, Mr Drachev, a world and European championship fighter from Russia, can be seen trading kicks and punches with the shorter man in the street.
A kick to the head leaves him seemingly unconscious on the ground, as Allakhveranov appears to run up to him and punch him to the face repeatedly.
